The Channel Company has announced the inaugural Sustainability in Tech Awards, hosted by Computing and CRN. These will recognise and reward IT sector companies making a real difference in the fight against global warming with huge advancements in the journey to Net Zero. Organisations of all sizes must play a part in moving to renewable energy as the UK drives towards a 78% drop in CO₂ emissions by 2035, and a 100% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. With 10 categories to enter and share amazing things being done to reduce emissions, adopt greener practices and embrace a more sustainable way of doing business, winners will be announced at the Sustainability in Tech Summit in February 2024.
